NEW: Join The Fight - Volunteer Portal
Ending domestic minor sex trafficking in our communities will take an army of us rising up to meet this challenge. We’re a young non profit that’s just entered this fight and we’re already making an impact, but we need your help to more effectively combat this problem and save our children from pedophiles and traffickers! We receive quite a few requests from supporters to help us and until now we’ve not had a great answer for how to best put all this energy to good use.
We now have a number of volunteer options available to meet the many individual levels of commitment regularly presented to us. You can select your level of commitment when registering to be a volunteer. Even if you’re not a military veteran we can use your help in these areas:

F.A.S.T. Leaders Wanted in Your City
We’ve just introduced our F.A.S.T. program that empowers the formation of fundraising campaigns in every community across the country and we’ve just added additional staffing to support this new initiative. If you’re willing to step forward to work a whole lot closer with us to shine the light in your community please consider become a F.A.S.T. Leader here.
Being a F.A.S.T. Leader is a big responsibility for those that want to roll up their sleeves and really help carry the Vets For Child Rescue message across the country. Team Leaders are the community liaisons within their towns and work with Craig Sawyer and our staff directly. In this role you’ll directly impact the success of the organization and receive material support to effectively represent V4CR in your community.
What You’ll Do:
- Organize your community to fundraise for V4CR.
- Assist with collaborative awareness efforts in your city.
- Distribute educational materials within your community.
- Set up and host meetings in your city/town to bring supporters together.
- Help rally supporters to join the cause and join V4CR at annual events.
V4CR and “Sold No More” SAFE Summit 2018
We’re excited to announce that Veterans For Child Rescue will be co-hosting this year’s SAFE Summit to end juvenile sex trafficking and help bring the Power Over Predators prevention education program to schools, educators and churches nationally with our NGO partner Sold No More! Attendees will be able to earn their certification to administer this curriculum in their communities.
This two day event will be hosted July 27th and 28th, 2018 at a comfortable resort in Tucson, Arizona just in time for the 2018-2019 school year so that educators can take this curriculum and training back to schools across the country. We’ll host speakers and experts from a number of nonprofit organizations, government agencies and genres with the focus on internet security for kids, identifying online sexual predators, community safety, civic involvement and healthy relationships.
In addition to working with law enforcement and filming the upcoming Netflix documentary CONTRALAND, we’re working hard to raise awareness and empower educators with curriculum and training. Soon schools and institutions around America will be able to apply for a program grant and receive a SAFE SCHOOLS award that gives educators, counselors and community leaders a program to help prevent children from being victims of trafficking.
Behind The Scenes: CONTRALAND Film Update
We’ve built a number of new relationships and partnerships with academics, law enforcements, non governmental organizations and confidential sources throughout the filming of Contraland. Most of the details of operations being filmed are confidential but we can share a little information about some of the interviewees that will make an appearance in the upcoming film.
We just met with and interviewed Dr. Sheldon X. Zhang to discuss his studies and body of work about trafficking and sociology. Dr. Zhang holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, 8/93.; a Master’s of Science in Criminology from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, 8/91. Master’s of Arts in Print Journalism from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, 8/88. Bachelor’s of Arts in English Literature from Sichuan University, Chengdu, China, 7/83.
Our shooting schedule for the film continues over the next few months as Craig’s journey to build a coalition to fight child trafficking expands. Our goal is to have principal photography wrapped in the next few months while we continue editing the film for a 2018 Netflix launch.
