None of the information below should be misconstrued or taken as legal advice.
Sex Trafficking: "Whoever knowingly recruits, entices, harbors, transports, provides, obtains, advertises, maintains, patronizes, or solicits by any means a person; or benefits, financially or by receiving anything of value, by use of Fraud, Force, threats of Force, or Coercion or any combination and causes a person to engage in a commercial sex act, or the person has not attained the age of 18 years and will be caused to engage in a commercial sex act is in violation of the code section. A commercial Sex act is defined as any sex act, on account of which anything of value is given to or received by any person."
Forced Labor: "Whoever knowingly provides or obtains the labor or services of a person by the use of Fraud, Force, threats of Force, Physical Restraint, threats of physical restraint, Coercion, or any combination; benefits, financially or by receiving anything of value, is in violation of the code section."
Peonage, Slavery, Involuntary Servitude, or Forced Labor: "Whoever knowingly recruits, harbors, transports, provides, or obtains by any means, any person for labor or services is in violation of the code section."
Transportation of Minors: "A person who knowingly transports an individual who has not attained the age of 18 years with the intent to engage in prostitution, illicit sexual conduct, and or any sexual activity for which any person can be charged with a criminal offense. Any person who travels with the intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct in the United States or a foreign country, or any person who arranges, induces, procures, facilitates the travel of a person to engage in such acts, or whoever attempts or conspires to do any of the previously mentioned activities is in violation of the code section.
